Our Story
The Grandmother’s Touch was founded in 1999 by Lexton Bates and Edward Sendrea.
In March 2014, Lexton became the sole owner of the company. His goal was to provide janitorial and maintenance solutions that would enhance the lives and work environment of its clients. The Grandmother’s Touch believes in creating an open communication system with each of its clients to ensure we fulfill all their needs. We understand that your time is valuable and therefore will always do our best to provide cleaning services that will not disrupt the normal working environment of our client
Since its inception in 1999, Grandmother’s Touch Inc., a family-owned and operated Canadian company, has evolved from specializing in carpet cleaning to becoming a leading cleaning service provider in Southern Ontario.
Offering a wide range of services including janitorial, day porter, on-site super services, carpet cleaning, upholstery, and janitorial supplies, we cater to a diverse clientele including condos, multi-residential apartments, offices, industrial warehouses, retail, and institutional facilities.
We started out small by focusing simply on residential carpet cleaning, but knew we wanted to grow the business in to something more. Over the years we expanded our service offerings to include much more than carpet cleaning.
Our mission is to collaborate closely with our clients to tailor and execute a cleaning solution that not only meets but exceeds their expectations, solidifying our position as a pioneer in innovative cleaning solutions. Our Staff
Security is of the utmost importance to our firm and for this reason, our staff have undergone police background checks and are bonded prior to starting.
At present, we employ 250+ full-time cleaners, part-time cleaners, call-up staff (occasional) and office staff.
All our employees are WHMIS trained, and many are certified in First Aid and CPR.
